A performance about Fear
The expression of fear is physical. In a performance without words, we give body and images to the essence of fear. The fear we all know, our own and others’ fear. How is fear expressed? What to do with someone’s’ fear that seems ridiculous or incomprehensible? Our primitive brain gives us three options when we get scared: Freeze, Flee or Fight. But when do we do what? Do we know? The language of fear is physical and is spoken with bodily references: It shivers down the spine, paralyzed with fear, the sweat of fear breaks out, we run or our lives.
